COULD THIS BE YOUR NEW JOB? The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a unionized trades shop, including supervision of over 20 trades people, approval of work requests, work order planning, and scheduling.The successful candidate will lead the preventative maintenance program, provide training for other team members, lead safety initiatives, and generate reports concerning the activities of the department. The main requirements for this position include a trade license (preferably dual or multiple trade ticket) with sheet-metal or electrical experience and a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience. The candidate must also possess solid knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Software, have a strong bias for action, be change oriented, and results driven. Experience in bulk handling would be an asset.
