One of our well respected food manufacturing clients is currently looking for a Chief Power Engineer (Class Two). The successful applicant supervises the overall operation and maintenance of plant utility systems including the following systems: boilers and pressure vessels, gas burning equipment, steam distribution and condensate return, HVAC, compressed air, ammonia, nitrogen, hydrogen, natural gas distribution, water and sewer, cooling tower, fire suppression, and all plant safety systems and equipment. Duties will include the following: ? Ensuring that all equipment certification, inspection and tests are up kept, scheduling and recording in accordance with all pertinent codes and regulations ? Ensuring a clean, safe and efficient workplace ? Training and developing employees ? Managing operational budgets ? Preparing reports and reviewing monthly bills ? Developing shutdown strategies ? Performing quality control checks ? Determining inventory, location and test frequency for all safety equipment on site Requirements: ? Power Engineering Certificate second Class ? Min ten years related supervisory background ? Good practical knowledge of all branches of engineering ?
