Our client is seeking our assistance in locating a quality intermediate level Mechanical Engineer. The successful candidate will assist in the design, implementation and commissioning of mechanical and HVAC projects. You will conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems. Supervising and inspecting the installation of mechanical systems, along with the development of maintenance standards, schedules and programs will form part of the job duties.
As the successful applicant for this role, you are:
A graduate of a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a well respected educational institution, eligible for registration with APEGGA An experienced Mechanical Engineer with 3 5 years experience, preferably with a Canadian company Highly self-motivated with superior communication skills Interested in working as part of a multi-disciplined team, and being well compensated for your efforts in the process Strong in your technical abilities (heat transfer calculations, sizing heat exchangers and pumps, securing AB. Boiler branch approval for pressure vessels and piping, HVAC and bulk solids handling design)
The compensation package for this position is well within industry standards for a position at this level and will range between $60,000 to $80,000 depending on the experience level of the candidate. A full range of benefits, including an RSP matching program will be included in the package.
